With the season fast approaching our Central Coast Support Operations team has put through our new RWC recruits in patrolling our beaches this summer. We wish to welcome the following operators who successfully completed their RWC Operators accreditation.
Michael Rasmussen – Lakes SLSC
Simon Hicks – Toowoon Bay SLSC
Peter Waugh – North Avoca SLSC
Paul Robinson – Copacabana SLSC
Geoff Prentis – Copacabana SLSC
Dave Butlin – Copacabana SLSC
Jason Smith – Ocean Beach SLS
The course saw our recruits practice at various locations across the Central Coast, with the last session culminating in a series of scenarios at Frazer Park including operating in Snapper Cave. Snapper Cave is notorious for major rock fishing rescues with many call-outs assigned to the area each year.
