Award-winning Community Surf Education Programs.

Since 1999, Surf Life Saving Central Coast has been delivering award-winning Community Surf Education Programs. Initially introduced as an additional service to the Central Coast community to enhance life-saving efforts, these programs have since become a cornerstone of local primary school activities. Each year, they engage with over 50,000 students from nearly 60 primary schools.

The Community Surf Education Program has expanded to include crucial surf education initiatives like the Rip Awareness Demonstration Events, which are open to the public. These programs are facilitated by fully qualified surf lifesavers who ensure rigorous teaching and safety standards.
Though their impact is difficult to quantify, these programs have undoubtedly saved numerous lives and are poised to continue safeguarding many more by raising community awareness about surf safety.
