lifesaving

Our commitment ensures beach safety throughout the year.

Surf lifesaving is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation dedicated to community-based surf rescue operations during the summer months. Our patrols are stationed at fixed locations, providing surveillance and intervention during daylight hours.

Our primary focus is surf rescue, complemented by our role as first responders skilled in resuscitation techniques. We are equipped with portable oxygen and AED defibrillators to swiftly address local emergencies while on patrol.

Recognisable by our distinctive red and yellow uniforms and flags, we maintain a robust presence on beaches and utilise a comprehensive radio network for communication.
