2017-2018 Junior Lifesaver of the Year

The Junior Lifesaver of the Year award is an ideal opportunity for Clubs to recognise their Under 14 member’s achievements in Surf Life Saving and the contributions they have made to Surf Life Saving at all levels and in the community.

SLSCC would like to congratulate each of nominees for their enthusiasm and wonderful attitudes displayed during the interview process which involved a theory test, signals test, a scenario and a panel interview which was conducted by independent SLSCC assessors/personnel and Newcastle Permanent staff – all the judges were very impressed with the level of knowledge and dedication shown by all of our nominees.

Massive congratulations to the Newcastle Permanent Junior Lifesavers of the Year winners for 2017-2018….
Jade Crook from Shelly Beach SLSC and Oscar Crowe from MacMasters Beach SLSC..!

Jade and Oscar will now go on to represent SLSCC at the 2018 SLSNSW Junior Lifesaver of the Year camp which will be held in Sydney this April – we wish them all the very best!

Thank you and well done to this years nominees who all represented their respective clubs with great pride!
