Come and join our Surf Life Saving community this summer season. Surf Life Saving has something for everyone to get involved in. When you join a surf club you will have the opportunity to explore various pathways and develop a wide variety of skills no matter what stage of life you are at. Whether you are a young person or a grandparent Surf Life Saving can provide for your needs and get you involved in a community organisation that delivers a valuable service to the Central Coast community.

Nippers

Surf Life Saving is one of the largest community sports on the Central Coast and it is more than a sport. Surf Life Saving provides all members with beach and surf awareness education to keep our future generation safe at the beach. Part of this education is learning how to use rescue equipment and negotiate the surf. This is where our sport is derived from. All sports events have been designed to simulate various skills which are required to be lifesavers.

Patrols

Our Patrols operate 7 months of the year, starting in September School holidays and concluding at the end of term 1 school holidays. Our volunteer Lifesavers patrol the bench each weekend and public holiday on a rotating roster. To support members on patrol our Surf Club provides you with first-class aquatic rescue and first aid training. These qualifications can also be used to translate into your professional life as well. To keep these skills current the clubs offer opportunities to develop your skills further in various competitions throughout the year.
