Two Central Coast female lifesavers were selected to take part in the SLSA Female Mentoring program announced this week.

SLSA established the Female Mentoring Program to strengthen and support females in positions of leadership within Surf lIfe Saving. The program consists of 20 mentors and 20 mentees and run for a period of 12 months.

Jenni Darwin from Umina was selected as a mentor and Amber Henderson from The Lakes as a mentee.

Jenni is the Director of Administration and Member Services at Umina and has a keen interests in surf sport, youth development and member engagement.

Amber is the Chief Training officer at The Lakes and is a SLSCC Youth Facilitator and is also a strong lifesaving competitor.
