SLSCC with support from their long term partner the Central Coast Leagues Club, have even further increased our ability to save lives with the injection of 2 new Rescue Water Craft (Rescue Wave Runner) which was last Saturday at Terrigal Beach alongside the Branch Raising of the Flags Ceremony.

Following another tragic season for drownings on NSW beaches, the boost from Central Coast Leagues Club will be a huge assistance for our lifesaving services in protecting both local residents and visitors to the Central Coast.

RWC’s have become a vital surf rescue asset for Surf Life Saving Central Coast. They allow us to respond quickly to more difficult locations and with only one operator. Approximately 90% of our emergency rescues at unpatrolled beaches are now made by RWC’s.

Thank you Central Coast leagues club for your continued support in ensuring we can continue to support the Central Coast in essential lifesaving assets
