The SLSCC Inclusive Branch Carnival ran alongside the Newcastle Permanent Branch Championships. This is a new addition to the SLSCC’s calendar as eight (8) of the fifteen (15) surf clubs are currently delivering Inclusive Programs on the Central Coast. The Carnival enables participants to compete in three (3) events, Flags, Sprint and Wade. Each participant has a buddy who assists and encourages participants throughout the carnival. SLSCC is very fortunate to have passionate volunteers who have put together Inclusive programs Mr Harkness, SLSCC CEO said “the smile on the kids’ faces during the carnival was something very special to see”.
