The SLSCC Education Field day was held at North Entrance SLSC on Saturday 20th August. It was the first time since 2019 that all our Trainers, Assessors and Facilitators (TAFs) have been able to be in the same room. There were 45 TAF’s in attendance and lots of discussion was held and plenty of sharing ideas across our 15 clubs.

Amazing mass rescue by volunteer lifesavers awarded NSW Rescue of the Month
A team of dedicated Avoca Beach SLSC patrolling members who prevented a serious incident in dangerous conditions on the Central Coast in January have been recognised for their efforts with the Surf Life Saving Rescue of the Month award. Just after 4pm on 15 January, with onshore winds and strong currents combining to form 5–8-foot waves crashing into Avoca Beach,
